Distinguishing a requested schedule from a confirmed schedule

A requested window is a planning input until the responsible scheduling team accepts it.

A practical approach

Use different labels and customer messages for requested and confirmed times. If the requested window cannot be accepted, record the alternative and obtain the necessary confirmation. Keep sales notes aligned with the current scheduling record. This reduces confusion when a rep, coordinator and homeowner are each looking at a different version of the plan.

Put it into practice

  1. Use distinct schedule statuses
  2. Record the accepted alternative
  3. Update customer-facing notes
