What belongs in a sold-project handoff
The operational team needs the agreed scope and the context that could change how the project proceeds.
A practical approach
Include the current documents, customer goals, contact preferences and unresolved conditions. Identify any promises requiring confirmation. Do not hide a missing requirement behind a sold status. A handoff should distinguish the customer’s acceptance from the technical, administrative or scheduling steps that remain before work can begin.
Put it into practice
- Attach the current documents
- Identify unconfirmed commitments
- List outstanding requirements
General workflow guidance. Confirm current responsibilities, availability and terms with the appropriate team. This article is not a project-specific technical assessment or a promise of compensation.
