Planning a pilot before expanding dealer volume
A pilot should test the relationship under real operating conditions without treating a small sample as a guarantee.
A practical approach
Choose a limited group of suitable projects and agree on what the pilot will evaluate. Include submission quality, communication and exception handling. Review each project’s experience before increasing volume. Keep the acceptance criteria visible so expansion is based on observed readiness instead of a desire to recover time spent setting up the partnership.
Put it into practice
- Define pilot scope
- Review exceptions as well as wins
- Agree on expansion criteria
