Preparing a one-on-one with a sales rep
A useful one-on-one combines the rep’s perspective with a small amount of specific evidence.
A practical approach
Ask what is working, what feels blocked and where support would help. Bring examples from the current workflow rather than only totals. Agree on one or two actions with owners. Revisit the prior commitments at the next meeting so the conversation builds on actual changes instead of restarting every week.
Put it into practice
- Invite the rep’s perspective
- Use specific examples
- Revisit previous commitments
General workflow guidance. Confirm current responsibilities, availability and terms with the appropriate team. This article is not a project-specific technical assessment or a promise of compensation.
