Reviewing roof-report gaps before quoting
A white space in a diagram does not by itself prove that a physical opening exists.
A practical approach
Compare the gap with the available evidence and ask the appropriate reviewer whether it represents an opening, another roof level or missing data. Record the conclusion and its source. Do not fill or exclude the region solely to make the drawing look more attractive or the total match an expected number.
Put it into practice
- Investigate the gap’s meaning
- Record supporting evidence
- Avoid cosmetic quantity changes
