Checking whether a customer question was actually resolved
An internal task can be closed while the homeowner still lacks an understandable answer.
A practical approach
Review the response that reached the customer, not just the internal completion status. Check whether it addressed the original question and identified any remaining conditions. If the customer raises a related issue, create or update the appropriate task without erasing the original resolution. Keep the communication history clear enough to follow the sequence.
Put it into practice
- Review the customer-facing response
- Check the original question
- Preserve the resolution history
