Following up on a recruitment application
A short, specific follow-up is easier to act on than repeated requests for an update.
A practical approach
Reference the email used in the application, the role and the date submitted. Add only meaningful changes, such as new availability or an updated preferred market. Do not submit multiple applications just to move yourself to the top of a queue. Keep sensitive documents out of a general inquiry unless the reviewer requests an approved upload method.
Put it into practice
- Reference the original application
- Share material changes only
- Use one consistent contact address
General workflow guidance. Confirm current responsibilities, availability and terms with the appropriate team. This article is not a project-specific technical assessment or a promise of compensation.
